After my time in Germany meeting doctors, naturopaths, nurses, practitioners of all modalities from around the world, I was cued into the healthcare crisis as something that touches healers internationally. Every single healer in the system is in a struggle and one of the primary causes is in the limited, reductionist mechanical training. We're not fully equipped to guide our patients to healing unless we ourselves have healed. Unfortunately, with school, more school, residency, fellowship and conveyor-belt practice, there is not much time to stop and breathe and take space for that healing. So instead, we jump in head first and go, go, go until we burn out.
